The three questions to ask any seller

1. Do they state where proceeds go? A legitimate charity partnership names the organisation and, ideally, the amount or percentage. Vague language like "supports the cause" with no specifics is the clearest warning sign in this market.

2. Can you verify the claim independently? A named charity can be checked against the Charity Commission register. An unnamed "cause" cannot be checked against anything.

3. Is the claim consistent across the whole site? If a homepage banner promises donations but the FAQ, returns policy, or checkout says nothing about it, that inconsistency is itself informative.
