In 2025, the world had more cameras, more news coverage, more social media than ever before.

And yet—more than 35,000 Palestinians were killed, many of them children.

Entire cities were turned to dust.

Starvation was used as a weapon.

And still, governments debated… while Gaza bled.

This was the year we stopped calling it a “conflict” and started naming it for what it truly is:

Occupation. Apartheid. Genocide.

January–March 2025: Airstrikes rain down on Rafah, Khan Younis, and Gaza City. Hospitals are turned to rubble. Aid trucks are blocked at borders. The UN warns: “A famine is imminent.”
April 2025: The Israeli military invades central Gaza. Hundreds of thousands are displaced—again. Families who already lost everything lose what little remained.
May–June 2025: Student uprisings erupt across the world—Columbia, SOAS, Berlin, Cape Town. Police drag students off campuses for demanding food and safety for Palestinians.
July 2025: The International Court of Justice confirms that Israel is plausibly committing genocide. Western powers dismiss the verdict. But the truth echoes louder.
August 2025: Settler violence spikes in the West Bank. Palestinian villages like Turmus Aya and Huwwara are attacked. Israeli soldiers look on—or join in.
October 2025: A flotilla carrying humanitarian aid is blocked in international waters. On board is Greta Thunberg, who says: “This is not just war. This is erasure.”
November–December 2025: Gaza’s population is pushed further south. Tents flood in heavy rain. Fuel runs out. Parents dig through the rubble with bare hands. And still, they say:

“We are alive. We are Palestine. We are not leaving.”

What made 2025 unbearable wasn’t just the violence.

It was the silence.

But not from the people.

Across the world, millions marched, protested, wrote, documented, boycotted, and demanded change:

Israel’s actions are not isolated events. They’re part of a long-standing system of colonial violence.
Palestinians are not “caught in the middle”—they are being targeted, displaced, and killed.
Silence is not neutral. It enables the ongoing destruction.
Solidarity matters. Not just symbolic gestures, but loud, visible, committed support.
